Position: Vice President, Private Capital
Location: Dallas, Texas
Role:
The Vice President, Private Capital will play a key role in consistently representing PETRA’s value proposition to high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, family offices, and RIAs. This role demands a proactive, strategic approach to building relationships with key decision-makers to identify opportunities for growing assets under management.
You will lead PETRA’s national capital-raising and client engagement initiatives within these channels. Responsibilities span the entire client relationship lifecycle—from prospecting and acquiring new clients to onboarding and ongoing relationship management. Additionally, you will work with enterprise RIAs to secure distribution agreements that extend access through their advisor networks.
Responsibilities:

Lead capital-raising efforts across the full range of PETRA’s investment solutions.

Utilize existing relationships and networks to uncover and engage new prospective partners.

Gain deep expertise in the firm’s investment strategies and performance to effectively communicate value to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Develop and execute creative sales and educational initiatives to promote products.

Identify and pursue national opportunities where PETRA’s capabilities align with market needs, launching targeted sales initiatives accordingly.

Conduct proactive outreach—including calls, meetings, and campaigns—to introduce PETRA’s offerings to new and existing investors.

Create and drive a comprehensive business development and sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.

Research and engage new firms that can benefit from PETRA’s investment platform and solutions.

Stay current on market developments, advisor behavior, and investor preferences to inform strategy and client engagement.
Qualifications:

10+ years of industry experience.

Verifiable track record of raising capital from HNW, UHNW, family office and/or RIA channels.

Product experience in alternatives; multifamily real estate strongly preferred.

Knowledge of regulatory environments across the US.

Exceptional communication and time management skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Ability to travel to clients.
